It's been a week since the Boston Red Sox defeated the Colorado Rockies in the World Series, and fans in Denver are paying up friendly wages in the form of fine food. Curt Nickisch reports.

Doug Krizner: It's been more than a week since the Boston Red Sox won the World Series. But some businesses in Denver are still feeling the effects of friendly wagers on the fall classic. From WBUR, Curt Nickisch reports.
Curt Nickisch: Ever since the Boston Red Sox swept the Colorado Rockies in the World Series, Rockies fans have been eating crow, while the Boston friends they bet are eating pretty well.
Pete Marczyk: The meat of the bet has been beef or lamb from Colorado.
Pete Marczyk and his brother run a fine food store in Denver. Pete says they've gotten almost $8,000 in sales from Rockies fans settling World Series wagers.
Marczyk: A lot of people are saying, "Can you also send, uhhhh, Rocky Mountain Oysters?" And I think it's sorta being sent as a little bit of a "in your face" joke.
Whether it's bull testicles or tenderloins, the Marczyks are laughing last. They're from Massachusetts originally, both Red Sox fans. So they saw their team sweep, and they're getting more business from it. Call it a win-win.
