Marketplace on Tues 7/8 -Oil and fuel needs will always exist and we humans have simply not uunderstood the long term consequences of supply and demand.
We need to procreate less, adopt more children in need, reduce the demand for many commodities and live a simpler life.
All should read the book " In Absence of the Sacred". How we did things 100 years ago often drives my decisions. I do what is right and not necessarily what is easy or convenient.
What if we were to shun plastic bags and take reusables? Use food saver containers rather than plastic bags?
We need to also understand the power of numbers and stop the apathy. Lobby the legislators that represent us.
Over population is the key to resolving much of the climate and global problems.
Not accepting the mass marketing of ideas that pollute our minds and lives is another.
