I've been disappointed in Marketplace's focus since the melt-down. It seems to be all about how Jack and Jane FEEL. I'm far less interested in that than in insigntful information about what's happened and happening in the financial world. For example, the two This American Life programs have been far more interesting and helpful than your program! And if you want to focus on consumer finance, it would be much more interesting to hear how businesses are coping with fewer customers and hard-top-get loans, short- and long-term. These businesses and their fotrunes will have an immediate impact on both the owners and their customers, i.e. us! And what about credit unions? How are they doing?
