Brett White is President and Chief Executive Officer of CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc., the world's leading commercial real estate services firm.
White joined the Los Angeles-based company as a real estate broker in the San Diego office in 1984. From 1991 to 2001 Mr. White held a number of management positions, including managing director-Newport Beach, regional manager-Los Angeles, president-brokerage, and chairman-The Americas.
He was named president of the company in 2001 and CEO in June 2005.
White serves on the board of directors of Edison International and Southern California Edison, and is a trustee of the University of San Francisco. He has been involved in a number of civic and charitable organizations, including the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art and Junior Achievement. He received the "Brokerage Executive of the Year" award in 2005 and "Real Estate Industry Executive of the Year" and "Brokerage Executive of the Year" awards in 2006 from Commercial Property News.
White holds a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
