At least one of the nation's 15 million unemployed has a new job opportunity. Former NFL quarterback Michael Vick could play for the new United Football League when it debuts in October.The commissioner of the UFL says the league may be willing to let Vick join up, barring any legal issues. Vick recently served 18 months in federal lockup for his involvement in a dogfighting ring.
Meanwhile, Vick's lawyers submitted their latest proposal to a bankruptcy judge yesterday. He would get to keep his car and house in the Hamptons, but creditors would get a bigger chunk of any future earnings. The next hearing is set for July 31.
