•   Federal Trade Commission on Identity Theft - Visit this site for up-to-date information on protecting yourself from identity theft. This is a great resource to use if you want to keep up with the latest scams, or if you’ve had your identity stolen.
•    Identity Theft Resource Center - The site for the Identity Theft Resource Center provides information about how to prevent ID theft. In addition, the site talks about how to reclaim your identity if it's been stolen.
•   The Internet Fraud Complaint Center - This site addresses the issue of fraud committed over the Internet.
•   Securities and Exchange Commission’s Scam - This site from the Securities and Exchange Commission educates investors about stock market fraud and other online scams.
•   Quatloos! - Attorney and Stockbroker Jay Adkisson's Web site provides information on certain types of financial frauds and attempts to explain how these scams really work and how they can be avoided.

Tax Information

•   IRS - Visit the Internal Revenue Service’s site for tax preparation assistance, forms, and e-filing info.
•   Pinksheets - If you have a stock that’s going public on the Pink Sheets, or you wish to invest in penny stocks, this is place.
•   Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation - If you’re thinking of investing in foreign CDs, make sure there is an organization like the FDIC there to insure your investment.
•   Staying Ahead of the Curve - The AARP’s study about older workers is filled with great information ranging from the number of seniors who hope to work in retirement, to fears about age discrimination.
