Barry Diller is selling out his 5% stake in Vivendi Universal, in the form of his Interactive Corp. And NBC is buiing. The $3.5 billion dollar deal will give NBC 100-percent ownership of Vivendi, which it bought last year.

Nobody doesn't like Sara Lee except perhaps the people who work at bakery factories that are about to get shut down. The company's chief executive says she'll spend about $1 billion to shut down more of Sara Lee's bakeries and to update computer systems in others. Last quarter, Sara Lee's profits were up 20 percent.
